As the rotation continues, centrifugal force pushes molten metal towards the inner wall of the mold while pushing impurities outward—resulting in clean castings with superior metallurgical properties.

This technique excels at producing cylindrical shapes such as pipes or rings but can also be adapted for more complex forms by using multi-part molds. Modern blacksmiths leverage this method when creating products like bells, round decorative elements or wheels where strength and uniformity are crucial factors.
