Tempering reduces brittleness while retaining some degree of hardness, making your tool more durable and long-lasting!

Once you have completed fabrication & heat treatment procedures, there are still finishing touches left! Some common ways to finish your tool include polishing with abrasives like sandpaper or emery cloth; applying rust inhibitors like wax/oil/vaseline etc.; painting or powder-coating them altogether if required for better protection against corrosion over time.
