Gas Welding

TIG Welding

Tungsten Inert Gas (TIG) welding is one of the most popular methods used today because it provides excellent control over heat input during the weld process. TIG uses a tungsten electrode that produces an electric arc when struck against another piece of metal which melts both pieces together.

Unlike gas welding where additional filler material is required, TIG allows you to melt only what you need without adding any extra materials into your workpiece’s structure which preserves the metal’s integrity.

MIG Welding

Metal Inert Gas (MIG) welding is an excellent choice for joining metals of different thicknesses. It uses a continuous wire feed that melts and fuses together with the workpiece, creating a strong bond. MIG welding is relatively easy to learn and provides fast results making it great for high volume production jobs.

Stick Welding

Also known as Shielded Metal Arc Welding (SMAW), Stick welding is one of the oldest types of welding techniques still in use today. It involves using an electrode covered in flux to create heat on the surface area, which then melts both pieces of metal together.

Stick welding can be used in various environments, from outdoor settings to industrial facilities, making it a versatile option for blacksmiths working with different types of material.
