“Crafting the Perfect Set: A Modern Blacksmith’s Guide to Creating Functional and Aesthetically Pleasing Tools”

As a modern blacksmith, creating tools that are both functional and aesthetically pleasing is essential. One such tool that I recently had the pleasure of crafting was a set of matching bending forks in different sizes. In this case study, I will detail the process of creating these forks from start to finish.
Firstly, it was important to determine the exact sizes needed for the set. Through discussions with my client – a fellow blacksmith – we settled on three sizes: small, medium and large. The small fork would be ideal for delicate work such as jewelry making while the larger size would be better suited for heavier metalwork.
