Depending on what you want to achieve with your piece (i.e., making it more durable), different cooling methods are used; these include air-cooling, oil-quenching or water quenching – each method has its own pros and cons so research must be done beforehand!

It’s important not only to use proper equipment but also take adequate safety measures during this process as temperatures reached are extremely high! Protective gear like gloves & goggles should always be worn while working with hot materials!
