Mahershala Ali: The Talented Actor, Musician, and Activist Taking Hollywood by Storm

Mahershala Ali is a gifted actor, musician and producer who has won the hearts of many with his incredible talent. Born on February 16, 1974 in Oakland California, Mahershala was raised by his mother, Willicia Ali. He attended St. Mary’s College of California where he played college basketball for the Gaels before moving to New York City to pursue acting.

Mahershala started out in theater, appearing in productions such as “Blues for an Alabama Sky,” “The School for Scandal,” and “The Great White Hope.” He made his screen debut in the television series “Crossing Jordan” before landing his first major role as Remy Danton on Netflix’s political drama “House of Cards.”
